IAdea, leader in digital signage media players, smart signboards, and video wall technology, announces today its 10-inch signboard (model name: XDS-1078) is the world’s first digital signage device compatible with the latest meeting room software provided by Signagelive. The highlights of the integration are room booking widget and LED lightbar notification feature.
Signagelive Calendar Widget allows IAdea XDS-1078 smart signboards to work with Google and Office 365 calendar synchronization features. Users will benefit from the ease of use when making room booking or reservation digitally, whether it’s from desktops or on mobile apps.
IAdea XDS-1078 is built on W3C SMIL to support the widest range of interactive digital meeting room signage projects. Users will be able to identify current availability of the room by the LED color bar indicator, visible from afar. Each XDS-1078 is engineered with LED lightbars by default.
Features certified by IAdea to work with Calendar Widget from Signagelive include meeting occurrences, room conditions and information on those who make the reservation. Compatibility with LED lightbar allows for notifications of room statuses. XDS-1078 comes with default colors, such as green for available and red for unavailable. Room users are able to see the room status even from afar down the hallway. In addition to standard colors, the LED lightbar is programmable in terms of its colors. Any color can be assigned to convey any room status.
