How do I create content for 16:9 wide screen?

CMP & NMP players will stretch the video to the full extents of the monitor you connect. Therefore, if you are using a 16:9 widescreen TV (almost all LCD TVs come in this size), you need to modify your video content at the source. You need to render the content as “anamorphic wide screen” format, meaning squeezing 16:9 video into 720×480 pixels. Most video editing tools can do this, including Microsoft's Windows Movie Maker application already installed on most Windows XP or Vista systems, and Apple's iMovie application bundled with most Mac systems. Search for “aspect ratio” in the program's help system.

On HMP and XMP players, you will only need to modify the device settings (using Adfotain Manager Express) to select a matching “logical resolution” for your player/display combination. Please see the player's user manual for more information.
