A factory reset restores the player's factory state: corrects inadvertent settings mistakes, formats the internal/removable storage, and removes lost passwords. For all models:

1. Disconnect all power
2. Press and hold reset button at the back of device
3. Power on device and then release the button
4. “Reset” appears on screen, wait until process is complete
