Saffron Walden, Essex, UK– signagelive, a global leader in cloud-powered digital signage solutions, today announced support for the new range of IAdea range of HTML5 and IPTV capable digital signage devices.

In an industry first, signagelive has worked closely with IAdea over several months to develop native support for the new range of players and displays with integrated players, which offer HTML5 and IPTV streaming support, in addition to still image and video content.

The IAdea HTML5 and IPTV capable devices will be supported within signagelive through an upgrade to the current Virtual Player license, at no additional cost.

Commenting on the collaboration, Rex Chen – VP of Sales and Marketing for IAdea said:

IAdea is excited to partner with signagelive to bring great digital signage management features to IAdea’s new HTML5 platform. We believe this combination will enable many large-scale projects including hospitality and electronic menu applications. From the success we had in 2011 we are confident the added features to support dynamic content will greatly expand our market with signagelive.

Jason Cremins, CEO – signagelive added:

The new IAdea range of HTML5 and IPTV devices represent the first in a new generation of digital signage hardware, that close the gap between the capabilities of non-PC and software based digital signage players.

Our signagelive cloud-based digital signage platform offers the widest native support for player technology and we recognise the need to offer our customers and partners support for the very latest in digital signage hardware. Adding support for the IAdea HTML5 and IPTV capable players sets us further ahead of our competitors and maintains our position as the leading software innovators in the digital signage industry.”
